Responsibilities & Context
- The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading think tank in Bangladesh, invites applications from promising young researchers keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research.
- The ideal candidate needs to have a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic and fiscal-financial management, development economics and global economic issues. The applicant should have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills as well as excellent drafting skills. The candidate should be highly motivated, capable of displaying learning ability and a good team player.
Requirements
Education
- The candidate should have a Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Economics or associated disciplines from a reputed university. A minimum CGPA of 3.60 is required, which may be relaxed in case of candidates with a Master’s degree from a reputed foreign academic establishment and/or with publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or relevant job experience.
- Candidates with only a Bachelor’s degree in Economics but without a Master’s degree are encouraged to apply and will be considered for the Programme Associate (Research) position.
Additional Requirements: Skills in using softwares such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, EViews, Tableau, PowerBI, etc, for statistical and econometric analysis are required.
