Responsibilities & Context

  • Source rice from mills across Bangladesh, ensuring the best quality and price.
  • Negotiate pricing on a daily basis to align with market fluctuations.
  • Conduct quality checks during the sourcing process to meet our standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with rice millers and suppliers.
  • Visit rice mills regularly to onboard new suppliers and ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and category teams to ensure timely procurement and availability of rice.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor/Honors

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements: Age 23 to 45 years
