Responsibilities & Context
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP project management and management information systems, coupled with the ability to manage an IT support desk. This role involves optimizing system processes, managing IT support functions, and providing actionable business insights through reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage ERP implementation and upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify ERP requirements and resolve implementation challenges.
- Provide training and support to users for ERP systems.
- Develop and maintain MIS reports for key stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within ERP systems.
- Analyze data trends to propose process and operational improvements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Monitor, prioritize, and resolve support issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain IT inventory, ensuring the functionality and availability of equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT infrastructure maintenance and support.
- Ensure regular updates and maintenance of ERP and other business systems.
- Implement improvements to streamline IT operations and reduce downtime.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
Experience: 2 to 6 years
Additional Requirement
- Proven experience in ERP system management and IT support services.
- Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for IT-related issues.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and analytical tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage ERP projects and IT support responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills for user training and support.
