Position: Trainer/Social Compliance Developer (Contractual for SHIKHA Project)

The SHIKHA project under Social Compolinace Programme aims to strengthen prevention and response to all forms of gender based violence (GBV) at the public and workplaces in Bangladesh through legislative change and effective enforcement, strengthening systems and addressing harmful social norms and gender stereotypes. The project will work in Dhaka, Gazipur, Chattogram, Barisal, Narayanganj and Rajshahi districts in 250 workplaces, 270 educational institutions, public places, digital platforms and with the Government of Bangladesh.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze capacity development needs for the RMG factories and other private sector organisations.
- Develop comprehensive training modules focused on safeguarding and due diligence in RMG workplaces and other private sector organisations.
- Conduct interactive safeguarding awareness sessions and training to enhance awareness and implementation of safeguarding measures.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, pre and post training assessment, reaction and learning level evaluation.
- Engage with top & mid-level management and workers to understand their needs and tailor training accordingly.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to implement safeguarding measures effectively.
- Keep well-informed of the latest research, trends, and best practices in safeguarding, GBV, bullying and sexual harassment prevention at work place.
- Conducts field visits to ensure proper implementation of activities and prepares, analyses all relevant reports and documentations as required by the supervisor
Requirements
Education: Masters
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University, Training Institutes, NGO, Garments
Additional Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in safeguarding related training and development.
- Working experience with RMGs and other private sector organisations will get preference.
- Certification on Training of Trainers (ToT) will get preference
