Enrollment Requirements

Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree in one of several disciplines, including Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Biomedical Engineering, and Nuclear Engineering, amongst others.

  • Minimum Result: CGPA of at least 2.50 (on a 4.00 scale).
  • Academic Record: Candidates with a Third Division or CGPA lower than 2.5 out of 5.0 in any public examination are ineligible.
  • O/A Levels: Must pass 5 O-Level and 2 A-Level subjects with specific grade requirements (minimum 2 As, 3 Bs, and 2 Cs).
  • Equivalence: Required for those with foreign degrees or degrees in related disciplines.

Admission Test Structure

The selection process consists of a Written Exam (80 Marks) and a Viva-voce (20 Marks). The written portion is divided into five segments (16 marks each):

  1. Electronics (Analogue & Digital)
  2. Electrical Circuits (AC & DC)
  3. Electrical Power and Machines
  4. Computer Fundamentals (HW & SW)
  5. Communications and Signal Processing
