Financial benefits:

The University of Alberta Canada is offering scholarships to outstanding local and international students. These scholarships are being offered by different funding sources such as the Government of Canada, the Government of Alberta, and the University of Alberta itself. Students with excellent academic records and achievements can receive $9,000 annually under this scholarship category. The top 5% of students in each faculty can avail a scholarship of $6,000 annually. Students at the doctoral level for research accomplishments can avail a scholarship of $6,000 annually. International students will receive a scholarship amount of $10,000 annually.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. All international students and Canadian citizens are eligible for the University of Alberta Scholarships.
  2. Students should have an excellent academic record.
  3. English proficiency is required and eligibility criteria vary categorically within different types of scholarships.
