University of the Arts London International Postgraduate Scholarship
Summary
The University of the Arts London (UAL) offers the International Postgraduate £50,000 Scholarship and Accommodation Award to support students from low-income countries pursuing a full-time taught Master’s degree at UAL. This scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and may contribute towards living costs.
Eligibility
- You must have an offer for a full-time taught Master’s course at UAL starting in 2024/25 (Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes or MSc qualification).
- Be ordinarily resident in a qualifying low-income economy country (list provided). Excludes Canada, China, Japan, UK, USA, and EU/EEA countries.
- OR be an asylum seeker in the UK at the time of application.
- Have an annual household income of £25,000 or less (or equivalent in your currency).
- Submit a personal statement addressing specific questions (see Criteria 4).
- Provide supporting evidence (e.g., immigration documents, ID).

Selection Process
- A UAL selection panel reviews applications based on the provided evidence.

Scholarship applications open from February onwards (after receiving a UAL course offer).
Application deadlines:
- Course Start: September/October 2024 – Deadline: July 5, 2024 (Decision: Mid-August 2024)
- Late applications are not accepted.
Receiving the Scholarship
- Successful applicants will receive an award letter via email.
- Accepting the scholarship requires confirmation on the UAL Portal.
- Tuition fees and accommodation costs are covered directly.
- Any course and living costs will be paid to your bank account termly.
