A total of 28 students from the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) have been selected for an international internship programme at Mahasarakham University in Thailand.
Mahasarakham University, a prestigious public university in Thailand, is globally recognised for higher education and research, particularly in veterinary medicine. The internship, divided into two groups, will provide hands-on experience in pet internal medicine, surgery, and inpatient care. Group A commenced their training on 17 March, continuing until 27 March, while Group B will participate from 28 March to 11 April.
The students expressed gratitude to the university administration, including the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and faculty members, for their support in securing this opportunity. They believe this experience will not only enhance their professional skills but also inspire junior students to pursue international training opportunities.
PSTU officials hailed the selection as a significant achievement, underscoring the university’s commitment to fostering global learning experiences for its students.
