Chhatra Dal announces committees for 19 private universities

Private University Chhatra Dal has announced committees for 19 universities across the country in its second phase of organisational development.
The committees were approved by the organisation’s President Md Abu Huraira and General Secretary M Rajibul Islam Talukder Bindu, reads a release issued by Office Secretary Md Zahid Hasan, who holds vice president status within the organisation.
The release, posted in the BNP Media Cell’s verified Facebook page says a notable feature of the new committees is the emphasis placed on women’s leadership, with female leaders appointed to important positions at several universities, signaling a positive direction within the organisation for future politics.
“The committees are aimed at enhancing the constitutional activities and organisational dynamism of Private University Chhatra Dal across private educational institutions nationwide,” reads the release.
Brac University Chhatra Dal named Naimur Rahman as president, with Akaid Hossain Bijoy as the senior vice president and Mahmud Hasan Foysal the general secretary.
Meanwhile, Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology Chhatra Dal features President Md Abdul Halim, Senior Vice President Marjan Ahmed Uchchas, Organisational Secretary Taisha Afroz Muna, representing women’s leadership.
Moreover, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology Chhatra Dal comprised of President Rashed Md Nafis Hridoy, Senior Vice President Faruk Abdullah Naeem (Siam), General Secretary Md Lisanul Alam, Senior Joint Secretary Sabbir Ahmed, and Organisational Secretary Tahsin Ahmed.
The remaining 18 universities with newly announced committees include Northern University Bangladesh, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, World University of Bangladesh, Primeasia University, Presidency University, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Bangladesh University, The People’s University of Bangladesh, Manarat International University, Gono Bishwabidyalay, Asian University, and City University.
