Holy Cross College has begun the admission process for Class XI students for the 2025–26 academic session. The renowned institution will admit students through a written entrance exam, with final selection based on SSC GPA and performance in the selection test.

Eligibility criteria

• Science: Minimum GPA 5.00 in SSC with Higher Mathematics and Biology
• Humanities: Minimum GPA 3.00 out of 5.00
• Business Studies: Minimum GPA 4.00 out of 5.00

Eligibility for stream change

• Students with GPA 4.00 or above in Science or Business Studies may apply for admission to Humanities.
• Students with GPA 4.25 or above in Science may apply for Business Studies.

Available seats

The college will admit a total of 1,310 students:

• Science: 780
• Business Studies: 270
• Humanities: 260

Online application process

• Applications must be submitted between 30 July and 3 August by clicking the relevant link on the college’s website under Admissions > Admission Application.
• Applicants must fill out the form correctly and pay a non-refundable fee of Tk400 (including charges) via bKash.
• The application form and Permit Slip will be available for download 10 minutes after payment.
• A printed copy of both documents must be retained.

Required documents on test day

• Printed application form with a recently taken passport-sized photo attached
• Photocopy of SSC admit card
• Internet copy of the SSC academic transcript
• All documents stapled with Application ID No. written on the top right corner

Students must also bring the payment slip, pen, pencil, eraser, and ruler in a clear file.

Items not allowed

Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.

Guidelines for completing the form

• All information must be accurate and based on the SSC admit card and transcript.
• Any incorrect or misleading information will result in cancellation of admission even after enrolment.
• Applicants must upload a recent, clear photograph.
• GPA must be entered exactly as stated in the SSC results.
• Number of A+ grades must be counted from the first 10 subjects on the online transcript (excluding Physical Education and Career Education).
• The selection test will follow the SSC 2025 syllabus.

• Humanities: Bangla, English, General Mathematics, Geography, Civics, Economics, History, and General Knowledge
• Business Studies: Bangla, English, General Mathematics, Accounting, Finance and Banking, Business Entrepreneurship, and General Knowledge

Selection test schedule

• Science: 8 August, 2025 (Friday)
• Humanities & Business Studies: 9 August, 2025 (Saturday)
• Time and seat plan will be published on the college website after 5pm on 7 August.

Result publication

Results of selected candidates will be published on 14 August, 2025 (Thursday) after 1pm on the college website, Holy Cross College Facebook page, and notice board.

Admission confirmation

Selected students must confirm admission by paying the admission fee via bKash between 15 and 16 August (Friday and Saturday).
Failure to complete payment by midnight on 16 August will result in cancellation of admission.
