Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has issued a directive regarding student enrollment under special quotas for the academic year 2025–26.

According to an official circular issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, only students who passed the SSC examination under the special needs category are eligible to apply manually to their respective education boards for admission under special consideration.

In addition to students with special needs, the circular also mentions that children of expatriates, graduates from BKSP, and students who have received awards at divisional or national levels for outstanding performance in sports or cultural activities may also apply manually to the board.

In such cases, the respective education board will verify necessary supporting documents. The minimum GPA required by institutions may be relaxed for eligible students under this directive.
