The Islamic Development Bank-Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Education Waqf (IDB-BISEW) is inviting applications for its vocational training programme, aimed at underprivileged Muslim youth. Running for over 11 years, the programme provides six-month (720-hour) technical training in various trades to equip participants with professional skills.
The initiative targets financially disadvantaged students who had to discontinue their education, helping them gain employment both locally and internationally. So far, 1,741 trainees have secured jobs in over 248 organisations worldwide.
The training is entirely free, covering accommodation and meals, along with a monthly stipend of BDT 500. Courses include Electrical Works, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Welding & Fabrication, and Machining. The programme ensures a job-oriented curriculum with expert trainers and comprehensive employment assistance.
Only underprivileged Muslim candidates are eligible, and each applicant can apply only once. Applications must be submitted with accurate birth details within the specified deadline.
