MarXcellence 2026 launches first workshop with over 800 participants
MarXcellence 2026, presented by Dhaka Bank PLC, co-sponsored by Transcom Group and powered by Vatika Naturals, launched its first workshop with the participation of more than 800 students from educational institutions across Bangladesh and abroad.
The workshop brought together participants for an industry-focused masterclass featuring marketing and banking professionals, with teams preparing for the competition’s Xploration Phase, according to a press release.
Mohammed Maheer Tazoer, Senior Brand Manager for LUX at Unilever Bangladesh Ltd, delivered the keynote session, sharing practical insights into brand building and marketing strategy. The session focused on equipping participants with industry-relevant frameworks and strategic thinking to support their performance in the competition.
Representing Dhaka Bank PLC, Assistant Vice-President Rayhan Kawsar and Executive Vice-President and Head of Cash Management Unit Mosleh Saad Mahmud also addressed participants, offering perspectives on business strategy and the financial sector.
Organisers said the workshop witnessed active participation, with attendees engaging in interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions throughout the programme.
The event was coordinated by the MIBC team, which managed the participation of more than 800 attendees. Organisers said the workshop reflects MarXcellence’s continued efforts to strengthen Bangladesh’s marketing talent ecosystem by connecting aspiring professionals with industry leaders and practical learning opportunities.
