Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has fully digitised its clearance and verification services for students, eliminating the need for physical visits to multiple departments.
Students can now apply online for clearance applications, attested copies of academic transcripts, certificate verification, and free document verification for foreign university admissions. Students can choose to collect documents in person or receive them via courier after making an online payment.
RUET has also significantly reduced verification costs. The attestation fee for original certificates has been lowered from $20 per page to Tk100, while transcript attestation fees have dropped from $20 per page to Tk50. Additionally, email verification of documents for foreign universities, which previously cost $20, is now completely free.
RUET is also working on a dedicated mobile app that will allow students to access essential services, including clearance, verification, course registration fees, exam fees, hall charges, and library services, from their smartphones.
