The average pass rate in this year’s SSC examinations under the nine general education boards has fallen to 64.05%, down from 68.04% last year, reflecting a decline of 3.99 percentage points.

The results of the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations were published at around 10am today (10 August) simultaneously online and at students’ respective educational institutions. Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon inaugurated the publication of the results at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Education.

A total of 106,009 students secured GPA-5 this year, compared with 125,018 last year.

Across all 11 education boards, including nine general education boards, the madrasah board and the technical education board, the average pass rate stood at 62.25%.

A total of 116,676 students obtained GPA-5 across the 11 boards.

The average pass rate under the Technical Education Board is 58.20%, with 3,951 students securing GPA-5.

The average pass rate under the Madrasah Education Board is 55.49% this year. A total of 6,716 students secured GPA-5 from this board.
