The US Embassy in Dhaka has urged qualified Bangladeshi students to submit their F-1 visa applications promptly to avoid unforeseen delays in processing.

In a verified Facebook post on Tuesday, the Embassy reiterated a message first issued on 17 July, advising prospective students to complete their visa procedures soon after receiving admission offers from SEVP-certified US institutions.

“Applying for your visa in good time is the best way to prevent unexpected delays in processing,” the post read.

The Embassy stressed the importance of early submission of the DS-160 form, timely scheduling of visa interviews, and proper preparation of supporting documents to ensure a smooth consular process.

Students have also been advised to regularly check the US Embassy Dhaka website and its official social media channels for updates on visa guidance and appointment availability.
