Flesh and Blood

It is those with human flesh and blood,

Who are more animal than human in nature.

It is those of the same flesh and blood,

Who are more vulnerable than any creature.

Never will there exist any living beings,

Who are the same outside yet so different.

Never have there existed any living beings,

Who had classes of victim and violent.

There is conflict for power and superiority,

With that, one becomes beyond flesh and blood.

There are choices where dominance is priority,

With that, one quenches thirst with tears’ flood.

No flesh and blood can hide the blood stains

They gain through the cut of other human flesh.

No flesh and blood can put on veil forever

Because the cut they make remains forever fresh.

Yet, how little the world justifies the lives!

How little we know of the acts of impure blood,

And how little of the sacrifices of sacred blood!

All is a maze in this land of flesh and blood.
