Writing Contest

The effects of global warming becoming is more apparent in Bangladesh, with cyclones lasting longer than previous instances, incessant heat waves taking a toll on animals and nature alike, salinity increasing in the southern areas of the country and more. We observe International Environment Day every year but how many of us are actually aware of the deep impact climate change has on our lives?

TBS Graduates invite you to share your writeups on any issue relating to climate change or steps we can take to combat the global phenomenon. Topics may include how Bangladesh is impacted by global warming especially the coastal regions, or about specific natural calamities like flood, cyclones, earthquakes etc., pollution or any other adversities resulting from climate change. You are not bound by these few ideas though, you are free to write on any topic you find interesting involving climate change.

Requirements:

  1. Writeup has to be in English
  2. Use British English spelling
  3. Word limit: 500 words
  4. Submit in Word format only, PDF or images won’t be accepted.
