The Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) is set to host the 3rd International Conference on Textile Science and Engineering (ICTSE) on May 24, 2025. Organized by the Faculty of Fashion Design and Apparel Engineering, the conference will emphasize fashion innovation and sustainable apparel production.
Participants can submit research papers on topics such as fashion innovation, branding and retailing, Industry 4.0 and 5.0 in textiles, functional textiles and wearable technology, artificial intelligence in fashion, robotics in the textile industry, and sustainable practices like recycling and circular economy. Other key areas include biopolymers, fiber-reinforced composites, textile machinery maintenance, compliance, and renewable energy in the apparel industry.
