EDU Photography Club invites entries for Lens-e Utshob 2025 photography contest

The Photography Club of East Delta University (EDU) has officially launched Lens-e Utshob 2025, an inter-city university-level photography contest and exhibition aimed at nurturing and showcasing emerging photographic talent across Chattogram’s student community.
This year’s edition also marks a key milestone for the club with the launch of its first printed photography magazine, designed to highlight outstanding works by university photographers.
Open to all university students based in Chattogram, the competition seeks to foster creative expression through photography while offering a platform for professional exposure. Selected entries will be showcased at a public exhibition hosted on the EDU campus, and featured photographs will be published in the official Lens-e Utshob magazine.
Submission Categories:
- Mobile Photography: Up to three images taken using a mobile phone (minimum 2400 pixels on the longer side, 240 dpi).
- Single Photos: Up to three standalone images taken with a DSLR or digital camera (minimum 3000 pixels on the longer side, 300 dpi).
- Photo Series: One cohesive visual narrative per participant.
Entries must be submitted in JPEG or JPG format. Both colour and black-and-white photographs are accepted. However, watermarked photos, selfies, and portrait-style images will not be considered.
Participants must rename their files using the following format: Institution (ShortForm)_Name_Category_Phone_SerialNo_Title.

The submission deadline is 27 July 2025. The final exhibition will take place at East Delta University, where top entries will be awarded and recognised through the event magazine.
