DIU hosts 2025 World Friends Korea IT Volunteer Programme to foster digital skills

Daffodil International University (DIU) successfully hosted the 2025 World Friends Korea IT Volunteer Programme from 12 to 30 July, supported by the National Information Society Agency (NIA) of South Korea, featuring four passionate student volunteers from South Korea: Mr. Jihyuk Lee, Ms. Minji Kim, Ms. Ju Heyrim, and Ms. Kim Hyunseo, representing Chosun University and Sungshin Women’s University.
At the Department of Software Engineering, DIU, a comprehensive ICT training programme was conducted combining the latest technology education to enhance DIU students’ digital skills as well as meaningful cultural exchanges with games, cooking, costumes, etc. to strengthen ties between Bangladesh and South Korea. The programme ended with a closing and certificate-giving ceremony attended by the Associate Dean of Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSIT), including faculty, students, and coordinators of the project.
