On 30 July, 2025, American International University, Bangladesh (AIUB) Social Welfare Club Shomoy, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and supported by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), organised “Awareness Building and Voluntary Blood Donation Programme” at AIUB.

Under the guidance of club mentors and OSA representatives, the campaign collected 200 bags of blood, each a valuable contribution to patients in need. Donors received appreciation cards and gifts, reinforcing the spirit of giving.

The day-long event ran from 10:00am to 5:00pm, engaging students, faculty members, and administrative staff in a united humanitarian effort.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB, alongside Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor. Medical teams from the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society ensured donor registration, eligibility checks, blood collection, and post-donation care.
