BUP hosts fourth edition of Accfinity accounting and investment contest
The fourth edition of the flagship event of the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) Accounting Forum — “MonkMoney Pty Ltd Presents ‘AccFinity 2025′” — was held on 15 November.
Although accounting- and investment-focused competitions are relatively uncommon in Bangladesh, AccFinity has established a strong platform since its inception. The BUP Accounting Forum, an associate club of the Department of Business Administration in Accounting and Information Systems, launched the competition to equip young people with practical business insights, financial skills and problem-solving abilities.
AccFinity is the country’s leading inter-university accounting and investment competition, assessing participants on problem identification, strategic decision-making, financial analysis and the ability to develop realistic solutions.
This year, MonkMoney Pty Ltd served as the title sponsor, while Gold Kinen and Headstart Professional Accountancy Service supported the event as silver and bronze sponsors respectively.
AccFinity 2025 was conducted through two months of nationwide promotion and three competitive rounds. More than 200 teams from 27 universities took part. After rigorous evaluation, six teams advanced to the grand finale, competing for prizes worth Tk3,20,000, including a gold bar valued at Tk70,000.
In the final round, teams presented their business solutions before the judges and faced a concluding question-and-answer session.

AccFinity 2025 is designed not only as a competition but as a platform for young people to gain skills, learn and shape their professional futures. The BUP Accounting Forum aims to continue supporting youth development in accounting and investment fields and to make these areas more accessible in the coming years.
