- Notarised Diploma & Transcripts: Undergraduate onwards; fresh graduates must provide an expected graduation certificate.
- Study Plan: A minimum of 1,000 words/characters (Doctoral plans must be signed by the LZU supervisor).
- Recommendation Letters: Two letters from professors or associate professors.
- Supervisor Acceptance: A pre-admission or supervisor acceptance letter is mandatory.
- Physical Examination: Foreigner Physical Examination Form (valid for 6 months).
- Non-Criminal Record: Issued within 6 months of submission.

- Step 1 (CSC System): Register at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn. Select Category B and use Agency Code 10730.
- Step 2 (LZU System): Complete the secondary application at lzu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx.
- Step 3 (Refinement): If pre-approved, LZU will contact the applicant to re-upload the pre-admission documents to the CSC system.
