The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dhaka (DU) is currently inviting applications for the 6th batch of the Professional Masters in Information and Cyber Security (PMICS) programme for the January-2026 session. A total of forty (40) students will be admitted to this cohort based on the results of a competitive admission test.

Admission Requirements
- Academic Background: Applicants must hold a graduation degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EEE, ECE, or any IT/ICT-related subjects.
- Minimum Grade Point: A CGPA of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale (or equivalent) is required.
- Disqualifications: Candidates with a third class/division or a GPA below 2.50 in any public examination are not eligible.
- Preferences: Candidates with relevant professional experience will be given preference.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for this programme.
Programme Features & Fees
The PMICS programme is structured over 01 year and 06 months (3 semesters) and follows an open credit system with a total of 36 credit hours. Classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays (10 AM to 9 PM) and other days as needed (6 PM to 9 PM).
The total estimated cost for the programme is approximately 3,74,000/- BDT. An additional approximate fee of 5,000/- is required for hall fees.
