The campus round grand finale of the globally recognised social entrepreneurship competition, the Hult Prize, was held successfully at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), drawing enthusiastic participation from students who presented innovative and impact-driven business ideas.

The final round was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Md Quayyum from UNDP Bangladesh, Sumaiya Haque Subah of IPDC Finance PLC, SK Moinur Rahman from Akij iBOS, and Shamsul Alam Rifat of Genesis Foundation. Representatives from the Hult Prize Foundation Bangladesh, Md Abid Shaharia and Md Aminul Islam, were also present at the event.

After a closely contested final round, Team AALOO emerged as the campus champion. Team BHAIBONDHUS secured the first runner-up position, while Team FIREGUARD finished as second runner-up.

The event was chaired by Professor Dr Syed Masud Husain, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Chief Advisor of Hult Prize at BUBT. In his remarks, he highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering innovation, leadership, and social responsibility among students through platforms such as the Hult Prize.

The winning teams will now advance to the regional and global stages of the Hult Prize competition, where they will compete with teams from universities around the world to develop sustainable solutions to pressing global challenges.
