A PSA 10-graded Pokémon Pikachu Illustrator card owned by content creator and WWE superstar Logan Paul has sold at auction for $16,492,000, according to Guinness World Records.
In a post on its Facebook page yesterday (18 February), Guinness World Records said the card was bought by AJ Scaramucci, who received it at the event when Paul placed it around his neck attached to a $75,000 diamond necklace.
Earlier, the card was purchased by Paul in a record-breaking private sale in 2021 for $5,275,000, at the time becoming the most expensive Pokémon card sold in a private transaction.
The latest sale took place via online auction house Goldin.
A Guinness World Records adjudicator was present at the event to verify that the purchase had made it the most expensive Pokémon card sold at auction, the Facebook post said.
