State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj said a proportional balance has been maintained between government and private school students in scholarships, stating that the policy will be updated to ensure equity.
Speaking to reporters after visiting a scholarship exam centre at Badshah Faisal Institute in Mohammadpur this morning (17 April), he said, “There is no discrimination against private school students in the primary scholarship examination.”
According to Bobby, one out of every eight students from government schools is receiving the opportunity to sit for the scholarship exam, while one out of every five students from private schools is getting the same opportunity.
