The Department of Management at the University of Dhaka has released an official admission announcement for its Master of Professional Human Resource Management (MPHRM) programme.

Programme Features

• Duration: 1.5 to 2 years, comprising 51 credit hours (including a 3-credit thesis).
• Exemptions: Professional HR executives and MBA graduates may be eligible for exemptions from a maximum of 4 courses.
• Schedule: To accommodate professional commitments, all classes are conducted on Fridays.

Admission Requirements

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 (on a 4.00 scale) or a second class/division.
• Work Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience is standard.
  • Exemptions: Members of recognised professional bodies (e.g., DCCI, BGMEA, BIM, or the DU Mgt HR Professionals Network) are exempt from the experience requirement.
  • Preferences: Applicants with a background in Banks and Financial Institutions will be given preference.

• Admission Test Date: 22 May 2026 (Friday).
  • Written/MCQ Test: 03:00 pm – 04:00 pm.
  • Viva Voce: 04:30 pm – 06:00 pm.
