Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Hamdard University Bangladesh and its Voice of Business Club, organised a seminar titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging and Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship initiative, PrimeAcademia.

The keynote address was delivered by M Nazeem A Choudhury, Additional Managing Director and Head of Consumer and SME Banking Division at Prime Bank. He highlighted how artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and innovation are reshaping the future of banking. He also encouraged students to prepare for evolving career landscapes by developing a well-rounded skill set that combines self-development, technological awareness, creativity, and purpose.

M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking, emphasised the importance of financial literacy and effective money management. He noted that early exposure to structured banking knowledge plays a crucial role in developing financially responsible individuals and future leaders.

Kazi Reshad Mahboob, Head of Consumer Protection and Service Quality, addressed the significance of discipline and time management as essential elements of professional readiness in the modern financial sector.

The academic perspective was presented by Md Monjarul Alam, Vice-Chancellor of Hamdard University Bangladesh, who attended the session as Chief Guest. He underscored the need for stronger collaboration between academia and industry to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world financial challenges.

The programme opened with remarks by Assistant Professor Imran Khan, Advisor to the Voice of Business Club. Associate Professor Sonjoy Maitra, Treasurer (In-Charge), and Assistant Professor Mahmuda Akter, Head of the Department of Business Administration, also addressed the audience.
