The GolfHouse Diplomatic Cup Golf Tournament 2026, presented by Baraka Group and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd, concluded on Saturday (2 May) at Jolshiri Golf Club in Purbachal, bringing together members of the diplomatic and corporate communities for a day of sport and engagement.

Jointly organised by GolfHouse and Corporate Tour, the tournament served as a platform for sports diplomacy, with participation from ambassadors, expatriates, corporate leaders and professional golfers, highlighting the growing role of golf in professional networking and cross-cultural exchange.

Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan attended the prize-giving ceremony as chief guest and handed over trophies to the winners. Founder and Editor of GolfHouse A M M Nazrul Hosen Ayon was also present, alongside ambassadors from various countries and senior officials from different golf clubs.

Around 76 golfers, including diplomats and ambassadors from 20 countries as well as corporate leaders, participated in the tournament.
In the diplomatic category, Satyapriya clinched the champion title, followed by Nazrul Naaim Othman as first runner-up, Eliza as second runner-up and Vu Quang Thang as third runner-up.

In the general category, Shahin Babu emerged as champion, while Go Fursawa secured the first runner-up position, Dr Md Neyamul Islam became second runner-up and Tahmid Mahmud finished as third runner-up.

Alongside the main competition, the programme included activities for non-golfers such as putting contests, driving range sessions and a raffle draw. The event concluded with a closing ceremony followed by lunch.

Baraka Group and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd joined as main sponsors, while InterContinental Dhaka and Turkish Airlines served as platinum partners. Supporting partners included Ray White Real Estate, Nazmul’s Luxe Auto, Walton Fan and Richman.

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport by IHG joined as the putting contest partner. Brüvana and Savoy Ice Cream provided hydration and ice cream support respectively, while Sundora Sport served as gift partner, Drinkin’ as coffee partner and Rovast Lab as IT partner.

The event was also supported by media partners including Ekhon Television, The Business Standard, Daily Banik Barta, Daily Jai Jai Din, The Graduates and GolfNewsTV.
Organisers said the tournament helps strengthen engagement between diplomats and corporate leaders in an informal setting, using golf as a shared platform. The event is part of the broader Corporate Tour series, which promotes the integration of golf into corporate culture while emphasising discipline, etiquette and leadership.
