Undergraduate Courses (5½ Years including 1-year internship)
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
Eligibility: 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B.Sc. in Yoga / B.A. (Yoga Shastra) (3 Years)Eligibility: 12 years of schooling.
Postgraduate and Doctoral Courses
M.D. (Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy): 3-year courses requiring a relevant Bachelor’s degree recognized by the CCIM or CCH.
M.Sc. (Yoga): 2-year course requiring any graduation degree.
Ph.D. in Ayurveda/Unani: 3-year course requiring a relevant M.D. degree recognized by CCIM.
Ph.D. in Yoga: 4–5 years requiring any post-graduation degree.
Important Guidelines for Applicants
Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of admission; there is no upper age limit.
Language & Fitness: The medium of instruction is English and/or Hindi. Candidates must be medically fit and possess sufficient proficiency in English.
Institutional Choice: Applicants are required to list 5 choices of Universities/Institutes in order of preference.
Medical Insurance: It is compulsory for AYUSH scholars to procure medical insurance with a minimum sum assured of INR 5 lakhs per annum.
Travel Benefits: Economy class airfare by the shortest/cheapest route is provided once at the time of admission and once upon completion of the course.
Strict Policies: No university transfers are allowed once admission is confirmed, and there is no provision for the revival or extension of the scholarship.
