Team Akash Pathabo secures 4th place at Codeavour 7.0 in Indonesia
Team Akash Pathabo has achieved international recognition by securing 4th place at the Codeavour 7.0 International Round held in Indonesia.
Competing against more than 280 teams from over 30 countries, the Bangladeshi team stood out with its innovative multi-purpose disaster response rover, named A3P5 Nemesis. Among the 10 teams representing Bangladesh at the competition, Team Akash Pathabo was the only team to win an international award.
The rover was designed to support operations in hazardous and emergency environments. According to the team, A3P5 Nemesis combines autonomous navigation, environmental monitoring, robotic arm operations, obstacle avoidance, and remote-control capabilities to assist in disaster response and rescue missions.
The achievement was led by Team Lead Safwan Sadad, alongside Muhtasim Rahman Bhuyian, who handled coding and programming responsibilities, and Safety Officer Abid.

The team said the project reflects the innovation, engineering skills, and problem-solving capabilities of young Bangladeshi robotics enthusiasts seeking to create technologies with real-world impact.
The team also acknowledged the support of PrimeNow and Mercedes-Benz Bangladesh for sponsoring and supporting their participation in the international competition.
Team Akash Pathabo stated that the success represents not only a competition milestone but also a step forward in showcasing Bangladesh’s growing presence in robotics and technological innovation on the global stage.
