Entrance exams are set to be held in July.
The Dhaka Central University (DCU), formed through the merger of seven government colleges in the capital, has officially published the full admission circular for the 2025-26 academic year for first-year undergraduate programmes.
The online application process began at 12pm today (10 June) and will continue until 20 June.
In the circular, DCU has outlined detailed instructions regarding minimum eligibility requirements, online application procedures, payment of application fees, and the complete admission timeline.
Eligible applicants can submit their applications through the official website of DCU at https://dcuadmission.org/ by paying an application fee of Tk800.
For the 2025-26 academic session, DCU is offering admission opportunities across three units: Arts and Social Science, Science, and Business Studies.
Applicants will be able to download their admit cards starting from 5 July.
According to the notice, the Arts and Social Science Unit admission test will be held from 3pm to 4pm on 11 July. The Science Unit test is scheduled from 11am to 12pm on 17 July, while the Business Studies Unit test will be held from 3-4pm the same day.
According to the schedule, the results for the Arts and Social Science Unit will be published on 14 July, and the results for the Science and Business Studies units will be released on 20 July.
Following the completion of the admission process, classes for first-year undergraduate students are scheduled to begin on 6 September.
