Disney has officially unveiled “Ice Age: Boiling Point”, the newest chapter in the popular animated saga, with a theatrical release scheduled for 2027.

The upcoming film is set to move beyond the icy settings that defined the series, introducing viewers to a strikingly different prehistoric landscape.

In the new film, Manny, Sid and Diego will embark on an adventure in a volatile land marked by volcanic eruptions, rivers of molten lava and a rapidly changing environment. 

The filmmakers have hinted at a world facing unprecedented challenges, offering a fresh backdrop for the franchise’s iconic characters.

Fans have also welcomed the return of several familiar voices, with Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Simon Pegg and Queen Latifah all set to reprise their respective roles.

Disney plans to release the film on 5 February 2027.
