Team Chorcha, a startup founded by students of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (Ruet), has received a Tk 10 lakh grant at the national “Youth, Startup & Possibilities of Bangladesh” competition.

According to the organisers, Chorcha was the only startup selected in all three categories of the programme: grant recipient, exhibition stall participant and national success story presenter.

Founded in 2021, Chorcha has developed into an AI-powered educational technology platform that provides digital learning solutions to students across Bangladesh.

The recognition highlights the growing contribution of university-based startups to the country’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The organisers said the competition aimed to showcase promising ventures led by young entrepreneurs and support the development of scalable solutions with national impact.
