The 64th Bangladesh International Education Expo 2026 will begin in Dhaka on 23 July, offering students information and guidance on overseas universities, scholarships, admissions and visa procedures.

Organised by Fair Convener International, the three-day event will continue until 25 July at Hall 1 of the International Convention City Bashundhara, according to information shared at a press conference in Dhaka on Sunday.

The expo will remain open from 10am to 8pm each day, with free entry for students and parents.

Alongside the main event, the European Education Expo, Malaysian Education Expo and UK Education Expo will be held at the same venue.

Students will be able to explore higher education opportunities in Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, European countries, Malaysia and other destinations.

Representatives will provide information on universities, academic programmes, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, career prospects and student visa procedures.

Students will also be able to submit applications and receive guidance based on their academic qualifications and career plans.

Participating universities include SEGi University of Malaysia and VIT Mauritius, the international branch campus of India’s Vellore Institute of Technology at the Uniciti International Education Hub in Mauritius.

Education consultancy and service organisations, including AIMS Education, TopTier Education Consultant, Bright Future by Sam, Dream Study International, Edulance, Mastermind Digital, Educare Education and Migration, H&H Global Education, Admission Connect and Centre for Education (Russia), will also participate.

The expo will feature business-to-business meetings and networking sessions for participating educational institutions and their representatives.

IDP IELTS will serve as the event’s official IELTS testing partner.

Mahmud Galib, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fair Convener International, said access to accurate and reliable information remained one of the biggest challenges facing students seeking higher education abroad.

“Many talented students see their plans disrupted because of incorrect advice. When students have the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives, they can make decisions with greater confidence,” he said.

He said Fair Convener International had organised 63 editions of its international education expo series since 2018.

Ashiqur Rahman Tanvir, Director of Events and Sales at Fair Convener International, said the simultaneous expos would allow students to compare several study destinations at one venue.

He advised students and parents to verify information about universities, courses, costs, scholarships and visa procedures before submitting applications.

“Applying hastily or based on incomplete information can create difficulties later. Students should make decisions only after gathering and verifying all relevant information,” he said.

Studyza, a platform for managing study-abroad consultancies, will serve as the event’s digital platform. The environmental initiative “Target: One Crore Trees” will also be associated with the expo.
