More than 5,000 students from the University of Chittagong (CU) participated in the CUCSU Presents Chattogram Job Fair 2026, submitting their CVs for jobs and internships to 30 leading companies.

The day-long event was jointly organised by the Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) and Excellence Bangladesh.

The fair brought together students and recruiters from some of the country’s leading organisations. Participating companies included PRAN-RFL Group, IFAD Group, Meghna Group, City Bank, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Pubali Bank PLC, and several other organisations from the banking, manufacturing and service sectors.

In addition to submitting CVs, participants received instant CV reviews, preliminary interviews, career guidance and opportunities to engage directly with recruiters. Students also explored full-time, part-time and internship opportunities offered by the participating companies.

According to CUCSU, more than 5,000 CVs were submitted during the fair, making it one of the largest career-focused events held at the University of Chittagong.
