NSU, currently ranked joint first in Bangladesh according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, offers candidate specialisations across three key tracks: TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Linguistics, and Literature.

Notably, NSU hosts the nation’s pioneer TESOL programme, tailored to equip educators with international standards of language pedagogy.

Flexible Options and Financial Assistance

Designed to accommodate both recent graduates and working professionals, the programme features evening classes alongside dedicated transportation facilities.

To support academic merit and financially constrained candidates, NSU provides up to 100 per cent financial aid for deserving students. Furthermore, three merit-based scholarships—one offering a 50 per cent fee waiver and two offering 25 per cent waivers—will be awarded strictly on the basis of performance in the upcoming admission test.

Students enrolled in the graduate degree will also have access to campus employment, including positions as Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA), Graduate Research Assistants (GRA), Foreign Graduate Assistants (FGA), and Graduate Assistants (GA).
