Applications on the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for admission into the 1.5-year (18 months), full-time Regular Master of Public Health (MPH) programme at the University of Dhaka.
Course Details and Schedule
- Programme Duration: 18 Months (03 Semesters)
- Class Timings: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Academic Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Undergraduate Degree: Applicants must possess a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Global Health, Sociology, Social Work/Welfare, Anthropology, Gender and Women Studies, International Relations, Public Administration, Development Studies, Population Sciences, Demography, Economics, Health Economics, Political Science, Home Economics, Management, Disaster Management, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Fisheries, Psychology, Entomology, Parasitology, Disaster Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Pharmacy, Gene Engineering, Pharmacology, Food and Nutrition, Nursing, BDS, MBBS, or related subjects from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.
- Graduation Year: Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree in the academic session 2023–2024, 2024–2025, or 2025–2026.
- GPA Requirements:
- Minimum GPA 3.50 out of 5.00 in both Secondary (SSC/Equivalent) and Higher Secondary (HSC/Equivalent) examinations.
- Minimum CGPA 3.25 out of 4.00 in the 4-year Bachelor’s (Honours) degree examination.
- Degrees from Foreign Universities:
- Students holding undergraduate or postgraduate degrees from foreign universities may apply subject to degree equivalence determination by the University of Dhaka.
Application Procedure and Important Dates
- Application Deadline: Collection and submission of application forms must be completed by 06 August 2026 during office hours (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
- Application Fee: BDT 2,500/- (Two Thousand Five Hundred Taka only).
- Required Documents (to be attached with the application):
- 03 recent passport-size colour photographs.
- Attested copies of all examination pass certificates, mark sheets/transcripts, and National ID Card (NID).
- Admission Test Date: 16 August 2026 at the University of Dhaka.
- Test Venue: To be announced later on the departmental website (https://du.ac.bd/body/dph).
