The United States offers more than 18 scholarships, fellowships and English-language programmes for Bangladeshi students, teachers, scholars and education professionals, according to the US Embassy in Dhaka.

The embassy highlighted the opportunities in a 5 October post on X following a meeting between Chargé d’Affaires Eric Geelan, Public Engagement Director Scott Hartmann and Prime Minister’s Advisor Mahdi Amin on expanding education partnerships between the US and Bangladesh.

The programmes include English-language programmes, professional development opportunities, programmes for scholars, cultural exchange programmes, and programmes for educators and researchers. The US also offers various student and academic exchange programmes.
