Dhaka University Management Club (DUMC) will host Crack Managers 2026, its flagship business case competition for Department of Management students, to mark the 56th Management Day.

The competition opened for registration on 5 November, 2026, and students can register until 10 November, according to the press release. Entry is free for students from the department’s 28th to 32nd batches. Teams may have one to three members and may include students from different batches.

Participants will analyse real-world business cases and propose solutions, drawing on their knowledge of branding, marketing and human resource management. The competition is designed to test their strategic thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Industry professionals will lead a virtual workshop on 12 November to help participants prepare. The competition will have two rounds. Teams will submit their slides online on 16 November, and the final will take place on 19 November at the University of Dhaka’s Faculty of Business Studies.

The winners will be announced on 25 November during the Department of Management’s 56th anniversary celebration. The top-performing teams can win up to Tk30,000.

Established in 2006, DUMC supports the professional development of management students through workshops, seminars and competitions. Its initiatives include Ask the Mentor, InkwQrks and Career Compass, which help students develop their creativity, leadership and professional skills.
