A total of 17 teachers of Comilla University are getting Vice Chancellor Award for the first time. Education Minister Dipu Moni handed the VC award certificates among the teachers on Thursday, January 19.
According to the convener of the Vice Chancellor Award Committee, teachers are nominated for the Vice Chancellor Award in three categories like Outstanding researcher, and General, Special, where High Impact Factor Journals have been seen in the year 2021-21.
Among the 17 teachers, 4 teachers won the prize as outstanding researchers, 3 teachers in the special category, and 10 teachers in the general category for their contribution to education and research.
