The events attracted a large number of students, technology enthusiasts, and invited guests, further cementing the festival’s reputation as one of Bangladesh’s leading technology-focused university events. The festival, presented by bKash, Bangladesh’s leading mobile financial service provider, underscored the growing role of technology and digital finance in empowering the next generation of innovators.

The programme was graced by Professor Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of North South University, who visited the venue, interacted with participants, and observed the competitions firsthand. He praised the efforts of the North South University Computer & Engineering Club (NSUCEC) for building a platform that actively promotes innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence among students.

The CS2 Tournament delivered a series of high-intensity knockout matches, with competing teams demonstrating tactical gameplay, sharp communication, and strategic decision-making under pressure. The event drew additional excitement through the participation of Nafis Rafsan, whose presence elevated the atmosphere and kept engagement high throughout the competition.

Running alongside the esports action, the Robo Soccer Competition put students’ engineering and programming capabilities on full display, as teams presented robots designed and built to compete in football-style matches. The contest gave participants a hands-on opportunity to apply concepts from robotics, embedded systems, and competitive engineering in a meaningful, practical setting.

Organisers noted that the convergence of esports, robotics, university leadership, and notable personalities made the fifth day one of the festival’s most memorable highlights. The competitions reflected the broader mission of NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026, fostering technical excellence while creating meaningful opportunities for students to connect with leaders from academia, industry, and the digital entertainment sector. bKash’s presentation sponsorship of the event further reinforced its commitment to supporting youth-driven innovation and digital advancement across Bangladesh.

Presented by bKash and powered by Global Brand PLC, NSUCEC Cybernauts 2026, organised by the North South University Computer & Engineering Club, continues to bring together students from across Bangladesh through a diverse range of competitions and activities celebrating technology, innovation, and creativity.
