The Art & Photography Club of Bangladesh University of Textiles is set to organise the seventh edition of its flagship creative event, “Nirobotai Kolorob 7.0”, expanding this year into a national-level platform for art, photography, and cultural expression.

Scheduled to be held on 30 April 2026, at the Butex campus, the event will bring together students from universities and colleges across Bangladesh. Organisers said participants from more than 33 institutions have already engaged with the event through club collaborations, campus ambassador programmes, registrations, and submissions.

At the centre of the arrangement is “EKPHORIA”, an art and photography exhibition that will showcase selected works from participants nationwide. The exhibition will feature categories such as mobile and camera photography, alongside visual art forms including painting, sketching, abstract art, digital art, doodle and mandala, and calligraphy.

A curated selection process will shortlist 40 standout works, including 15 photographs and 25 artworks, which will be professionally framed and displayed. Winners in each category will receive awards and certificates.

In addition to the exhibition, the event will host a live art competition on T-shirts and tote bags, where participants will create artwork within a limited timeframe. Completed pieces will also be displayed as part of the EKPHORIA exhibition.

This year’s edition will also introduce ARTex, a FIFA World Cup-inspired wall graffiti initiative aimed at capturing the global excitement of football through visual storytelling. Organisers noted that the initiative is among the first of its kind on a Bangladeshi university campus to incorporate the FIFA World Cup 2026 theme into a large-scale artistic platform.

Beyond competitions and exhibitions, the event will feature campus ambassador activities, club collaborations, flash mobs, formal sessions, cultural performances, and a concert, offering a comprehensive creative experience.

The submission deadline for EKPHORIA is 21 April while registration for the live art competition will remain open until 23 April.

Organisers said the initiative aims to create a platform for young creatives to showcase their work, gain recognition, and contribute to the growing culture of artistic expression in Bangladesh.
