Daffodil International University opens applications for TAF and Apprenticeship Programmes 2026
Daffodil International University and the Daffodil Family have officially opened applications for the Teaching Apprenticeship Fellowship (TAF) 2026 and Apprenticeship Programme 2026, aiming to develop future educators, researchers, professionals, and leaders through hands-on learning and professional development opportunities.
Over the past decade, the two programmes have supported hundreds of young people in building careers in teaching, research, administration, human resources, marketing, information technology, business development, and other professional fields. Many former participants are now working in leading universities, corporate organisations, technology companies, research institutions, and various entities within the Daffodil Family.
Speaking about the initiative, Dr Md Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and Chairman of the Daffodil Family, said the programmes are designed to develop individuals who can lead, innovate, conduct research, and contribute meaningfully to society.
He noted that success in today’s world depends not only on academic qualifications but also on practical experience, problem-solving abilities, technological competence, and leadership skills. He added that the programmes offer a unique opportunity for candidates who are eager to learn, take responsibility, and realise their full potential.
In response to the growing influence of artificial intelligence, technological transformation, and evolving industry demands, both programmes have been redesigned with a future-oriented approach. Participants will gain practical experience in teaching, research, student mentoring, academic leadership, business operations, project-based assignments, innovation, entrepreneurship, and AI-enabled practices.
Several new components have been introduced this year, including AI-based assessments, career growth simulations, leadership observation, weekly challenges, mentor-led development, and industry-academia integration. Participants will be evaluated not only on training outcomes but also on leadership potential, ethical values, innovative thinking, responsibility, and overall contribution.
Applications are open to final-semester university students, recent graduates, young professionals, aspiring educators and researchers, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in technology and artificial intelligence.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic background, skills, leadership experiences, and future aspirations before progressing to assessment, presentation, and viva stages.
Participants in the Teaching Apprenticeship Fellowship programme will receive opportunities in teaching and learning, research and publication, student mentoring, AI-enabled education practices, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), capstone and micro-credential development, academic leadership training, and collaboration with BLC, IOU.AC, and GoEdu.AC.
According to the organisers, the programmes are designed to equip participants with practical skills, leadership capabilities, and technological expertise needed for the future workforce. The Daffodil Family also plans to expand the initiative into an internationally recognised talent development platform for educational institutions, corporate organisations, and human resource development agencies.
Applications for both programmes are now open.
