The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee has cautioned the public against a false claim circulating on social media regarding the upcoming HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board.

In an urgent clarification issued today (21 July), the committee said widespread social media posts claiming HSC exams under the Chattogram board will begin on 27 July, according to a previously announced schedule, are false and misleading.

A notice signed by Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu, controller of examinations for the education board, said neither the Chattogram Education Board nor the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee has any connection with the fake notice being circulated under the committee’s name.

The notice stated that all official decisions, announcements, and directives concerning examinations are published exclusively on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, the Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee, and the respective education boards.

The statement requested the public not to believe or share any unverified information shared across social media platforms without proper verification.
