National University will complete the process of making its official activities paperless within the next three months, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr ASM Amanullah said.

The university will also increase the use of e-files and archive old documents, he said while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony at the university’s Senate Hall on Monday.

The Human Resources Development and Good Governance Office organised the training programme titled “Enhancing Technical and Administrative Skills of National University Officials” to improve the technical and administrative skills of university officials.

Certificates were distributed among 183 officials who completed the training.

Prof Amanullah said the university’s administrative activities must also be updated in line with technological advancements.

“Those who have received master trainer training on e-files will have to work more actively in this regard. The old documents will be transferred to the archives. Such training programmes will continue,” he said.

He said regular training was necessary to improve the skills of university officials.

“If the skills acquired through training can be applied to work, the pace of administrative activities will increase and transparency in the workplace will also improve,” he added.
