SUST Business Club

Sust Business Club, a student organisation focused on business and corporate affairs at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust), has announced its 3rd Executive Committee for the 2026–27 session with the motto “Sparking Business Brilliance”.

Md Tasnimul Haque has been appointed President and Al Shahoriar Ahmed Nibir General Secretary, while the newly formed committee includes a full presidential panel, secretariat, deputy positions and associate officers, according to a press release.

The presidential panel comprises Towhidul Islam Nayeem, Executive Vice-President; Tahmida Fathema Chowdhury Nivita, Vice-President (Admin); Anwar Hossain, Joint General Secretary; Meherun Fariha Samanta, Vice-President (Internal Affairs); Md Abu Tayeeb Radi, Vice-President (External Affairs); Md Jariful Alam Khan Jarif, Vice-President (Finance); Anindita Talukder Archy, Vice-President (Branding & Promotions); Jannatul Nur Tapadar Sony, Vice-President (Corporate Affairs Wing); Sakib Shourov, Vice-President (Business Development and Training Wing); Sadman Rubayet Shafin, Vice-President (Business Communication Wing); and Tawfik Imruz Alif, Vice-President (Skills and Research Development Wing).

The secretariat includes Tusrat Rahaman, Organising Secretary; Humayon Kabir, Deputy General Secretary; Most Zannaty Akter Juthi, Corporate Relations Secretary; Montahina Jafrin, IT Secretary; Mst Tamanna Afrose, Publicity Secretary; Fairuz Yasmin, Documentation Secretary; Tazrian Moumeta, Finance Secretary; Dewan Jarif Daiyan Chowdhury, Office Secretary; and Mst Takia Jannah, Public Relations Secretary.

S M Ziad Zubairy, Masbahul Islam Hadi, Farhana Nahar Riya and Morium Begum Tania have been appointed Wing Officers for the Corporate Affairs, Business Development and Training, Business Communication, and Skills and Research Development wings respectively.

The deputy positions have been assigned to Md Talha Jubayer, Deputy Organising Secretary; Adnan Farhed, Deputy Corporate Relations Secretary; Sudipto Kundu, Deputy IT Secretary; Md Sayeed Hossain Chowdhury Sadi, Deputy Office Secretary; Md Sabiur Rahman Ali, Deputy Finance Secretary; Sadia Wahida Shamonti, Deputy Public Relations Secretary; Tripodi Talukder, Deputy Publicity Secretary; and Rakibur Rahman, Deputy Documentation Secretary.

The associate officers include Shahriar Ahammed Sakib, Nahid Hasan and Supriyo Kar for the Corporate Affairs Wing; Md Shahinur Islam Ashik, Sheikh Najia Rahman and Rupon Das for the Business Development and Training Wing; Udoy Gope, Ifaj Hossain and Abida Sultana for the Business Communication Wing; and MD Abdul Kader, Soumaya Islam Rimi and Tahmina Akther Mim for the Skills and Research Development Wing.

Established on 1 May 2024, Sust Business Club has grown into an active student platform at Sust, with more than 800 members and partnerships with business houses, corporate entities and multinational companies.

Since its inception, the club has promoted business learning, leadership and professional engagement among students through various activities and initiatives.

President Md Tasnimul Haque said the new committee is committed to carrying forward the club’s vision and maintaining the platform as an open space for Sust students interested in learning, contributing and developing their skills in business.
