ULAB signs MoU with Taiwan’s National Chi Nan University
University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Chi Nan University (NCNU), Taiwan, aiming to strengthen international academic collaboration and global engagement.
The partnership will promote collaborative initiatives including student exchange programmes, faculty collaboration, joint research activities and broader academic cooperation between the two institutions.
Through the agreement, both universities aim to enhance cross-cultural learning opportunities and foster stronger global academic connectivity.
Founded in 1995, National Chi Nan University is known for its focus on internationalisation, interdisciplinary education and sustainability-oriented learning.
ULAB said the collaboration aligns with its vision of providing transformative education and preparing graduates to contribute effectively in a globally interconnected world.
ULAB Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Jude W R Genilo, PhD, attended the signing ceremony and highlighted the importance of international partnerships in advancing academic excellence, research innovation and institutional development.
Representatives from both universities expressed optimism that the MoU would create meaningful opportunities for students and faculty members while strengthening long-term cooperation and shared impact in higher education.
